Change Management

New ways of working, down-sizing, fierce competition, restructuring, rationalisation and adaptation has meant the need for managers to assimilate new clusters of skills, competencies of adaptation, innovation, leadership and the ability to motivate both themselves and those around them are rapidly changing from 'soft' skills to imperatives.

Our change management programmes using action centred learning tasks have in general two underlying objectives:

  1. The modification of behaviour patterns
  2. Improvement of the organisations' ability to cope with its problems

Change management programmes are usually designed around a single experiential learning project which increases in complexity as the event unfolds. These are combined with feedback reviews and reinforced by seminars showing how various change models can be used as diagnostic tools. Beyond this lies the challenge of implementation in the workplace. What we have found particularly useful though is to hold a series of weekend action centred learning workshops that build on the empathy generated by adding Strategic driven thinking cascading into Business Process and Competence Based Planning relating to your own organisation and its change management mission.
