Background

Founded in 1987 The HRD Group's business is that of Human Resource Development. This international business is managed through a partner network - see www.hrdonline.co.uk and www.hrdworldwide.com

  • In 1995 we were accredited to deliver what is now the Institute of Leadership & Management's Certificate in Team Leading and Diploma in Management.
  • In 1999 THRDGL was accredited to deliver the ILM's First Line Management Award and the Executive Diploma in Management.
  • In 2000 we became an Investor in People accredited company - renewed 2003.
  • In 2001 we formed an alliance with Skillgate and the HRD Online training "push learning" system was born.
  • In 2003 we established an international network of partners to market our portfolio of training programmes and support their client's with locally provided blended learning HRD services integrated with the HRD Online training system.
  • In 2004 we were re-accredited by the ILM and approval was given to establish 8 International Centres - using the equivalent International Management Qualification - with distant and blended learning methods.
  • In 2005 we entered into a formal alliance with Knowledge Associates to develop a Certificate, Diploma and Degree course in Knowledge Management.
  • Also in 2005 Long Term Unemployed programmes were developed on the HRD Online training system for the Australia Government and HIV / AIDs educational programmes for the South African Government - both using blended learning.
  • For 2006 - we are currently developing a portfolio of management qualifications awarded by the CIPD, CMI and ICM.
 

Our Mission Statement

Our business is to help our partners and their clients to develop their business. This we will do by providing expertise in HR Development. To achieve this we:

  • are cost effective, flexible, adaptable, and objectives centred in the way we operate to produce value adding results
  • always care for our people, suppliers, partners and customers and treat all we come into contact with without fear, or favour, or discrimination
  • deliver a quality focussed and personalised service
  • work hard, maintain our dedication and commitment and never become complacent
  • always seek to introduce new products and services, and innovate, and train ourselves, to keep ourselves at the front of pioneering change.

Our Beliefs

Our belief in people underpins all our dealings with those we come into contact with. We at THRDGL believe in:

  • Creating lasting and mutually beneficial business relationships with our customers, partners, suppliers and associated professional bodies.
  • Delivering a high standard of service with honesty and integrity and always in the best interest of our clients.
